This is Marlon Brando (1924-2004) at the age of 23 being interviewed during his screen test for Rebel Without A Cause (1955), the film that famously made James Dean a Hollywood heartthrob. However, Brando was offered the part several years before Dean even showed up on the scene. Brando ended up turning down the part, but that seemed to make no difference since he hit it big with The Wild One (1953). People more commonly recognize Brando for his infamous role as Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather (1972).
